Very interesting variation of the japanese ohagi. I loved the corn and chestnut ones. Perfect for omiyage or gifts to your host when you visit a friend's or a comrade's house, or to one's family after bookshopping.

A perfect spot for a short break at Tsutaya Books. I was told the left side of the display case is white bean paste-based and the right side is dark bean paste-based. This time I had the zunda and the corn; they were fun to look at and the sweetness was just right for me. They give a nice blood sugar boost to a brain tired from browsing lots of books. The staff had a really nice vibe and it was easy to order.

An ohagi shop that's ◎ in both looks and taste. Given how colorful they look, I thought they'd be quite sweet... but when I tried them, they were lightly sweetened, and the balance, right down to the texture of the rice and the anko, was excellent. The uguisu kinako in particular — precisely because it's simple, its deliciousness really comes through. Recommended!

Ohagi I ate as a change of pace from tantanmen... lol Not the super-sweet ohagi I'd imagined, but a grown-up ohagi where you can really taste the rice! If you're thinking "I want something super sweet!", you're better off eating something else😅 Recommended for those who are a bit peckish and want something as a light snack☆ Also, I didn't take photos, but I had the matcha warabi mochi too (ate too much lol)😆 The matcha was super rich!!😳 If you're picturing the slightly sweet kind they sell at Seven and such, this will surprise you too😳 The warabi mochi went down in no time, but as I said at the start the ohagi leans more toward rice, so if you're eating it as dessert I think one is plenty ( ꈍᴗꈍ) There are so many flavors it's hard to choose though lol
