Very nice food at a vey good price. The cheapest meal is around ¥600. I recommend the tonkatsu set, it comes with rice and soup.

I finally got to visit a restaurant I'd wanted to try for ages, drawn in by its exterior that has felt so Showa-era for as long as I can remember. They have lots of sets with ramen, a main side dish, and rice, and most people were ordering sets. I had the ramen and katsu set meal! The portion was just right, enough to finish happily and leave you pleasantly full. Lots of regulars come by, and I could tell it's a restaurant loved by the locals.

A Showa-filled interior true to its drive-in-like exterior, with a menu that's a jumble of Japanese, Western, and Chinese. There's also a nostalgic game table. Probably mahjong. A ramen set with great CP! It's like an oasis for middle-aged folks with big appetites. A ramen, tonkatsu, and rice set for 1100円 is amazing CP. The tonkatsu is delicious on its own, but the combination with the soup, ramen, and rice is outstanding. By the way, I put the katsu into the ramen and enjoyed katsu ramen too. The rich yet orthodox, classic miso ramen was very delicious! The service is homey, and even though the kitchen is basically a one-person operation, the food comes out really fast. Impressive organization. I'm really curious about the other menu items too. There's plenty of parking and seating, so drop by anytime!

The restaurant at the hall near here was temporarily closed, so I came here instead. The somewhat drive-in-style building is nicely retro. Inside there's a counter and raised tatami seating, and there was also a nostalgic mahjong game. It wasn't switched on, though. I kind of like this retro atmosphere inside. Looking at the menu, it ranges from fried rice at 650円 to ramen at 750円. Set meals start at around 1000円. Many menu items come as a set with katsu alongside something else. The ramen sets feel like a good deal. This time I had the fried scallop and beef set meal. The main dishes were 2 smallish fried scallops and yakiniku with a fairly strong seasoning. Generous rice too, so I was stuffed. 2023.5 Update Came back again. This time I had the ramen and katsu set I'd been curious about, plus fried rice. Both were great CP.

Went for lunch. Chose shio ramen and omurice. Mediocre. Or rather, the shio ramen was salty! Is this seawater? That's how salty. It'll wreck your health. The omurice was ordinary. Neither good nor bad. Everyone's eating the ramen sets, huh. Maybe there are lots of customers because the portions are big? I don't think it's the taste. Oh, maybe Nippon-Ham fans come here? There were lots of autographs. Also, it's all counter and raised tatami seating, so it's impossible for me with my bad legs. There was an old table-like game with 2 chairs, though. The staff were unfriendly and not attentive either. I don't get why there are so many customers. The parking lot is big. Not wheelchair accessible. Cash only
