I have been to the Bird Watching Cafe many times and each time has been delightful. The food is delicious, the staff are kind, and the view is wonderful! I’ve loved watching and photographing all the different species that I’ve seen (bird, squirrel, and mouse alike). The gallery space is really cool with some stunning photography. I’ve brought friends and family who loved it. If you like birds and good food, it’s a wonderful place.
View on GoogleAs a couple of Australians travelling through Hokkaido we randomly found this cafe through Instagram although arriving a bit late, we still had so much fun, I would highly recommend if you are anywhere even remotely close to the area to stop by. An absolute bird lovers paradise! 🐦 We'll be stopping by again on our way through to our next destination after Sapporo.
View on GoogleThis cafe is a lovely time for birders! I got pretty lucky and got a reservation for the photography seats the day before, these reservations fill up fast. I got to see a variety of birds and the cutest snowball bird, shima enaga! In the 3 hours I was there, they showed up around 4 times. They seem a bit elusive and rare, and I'm glad I saw them in person!
View on GoogleWe were lucky to get window seats for two people despite not having reservations on a weekday late afternoon. From our seats, we had an amazing view of many cute birds in the garden. Super enjoyable experience. We ordered the burgers and soft serve ice cream - all tasted delicious! Very friendly and helpful staff who helped us to call a cab when we were leaving.
View on GoogleExcellent location, lots of different bird species, squirrels etc. come to the feeders. Good selection of drinks, snacks and food. Very helpful staff. Small wildlife art exhibition on premises. Merch available.
