Absolutely loved the cozy interior, warm and friendly staff, and the superbly delicious food. Seems a nice family-owned business. 😁

Curry gravy was absolutely delicious, tempura batter perfectly fried 10/10!!

Went to this japanese style restaurant after visiting the salmon aquarium nearby. The whole family enjoyed the thick cuts of katsu and tempura and kaki fry. Generous portions for a reasonable price. Simple food made in excellence and pride!!

A long-established tonkatsu restaurant in Chitose City. As you'd expect from a popular place, it's crowded at lunchtime. I had the tonkatsu set meal, and they seem to use very good pork: the coating was crispy, and the meat was plump, tender, juicy, and very delicious. Apparently weekday lunch is 200 yen off. The parking lot fits about 6 to 8 cars.

An acquaintance recommended it, saying, "If you're going to eat tonkatsu, Rusutsu pork is delicious! The tonkatsu place in Suehiro is super good, you should go try it!" I've lived in Hokkaido for 3 years now, but it was a place I'd never heard of, so I decided to go. The parking lot in front of the shop holds about 4 to 5 cars. As soon as you enter, there's alcohol disinfectant for COVID prevention, so the precautions are thorough. The shop's atmosphere is like a coffee shop and was calming. After sitting down I ordered what my acquaintance recommended, the stewed pork belly cutlet (buta kakuni katsu) and the premium loin cutlet (jo-rosu katsu), both using Rusutsu pork. It took about 10 minutes from ordering until the food was served. The staff member was like a kind mother and easy to talk to. The stewed pork belly cutlet was exquisite. Of course the premium loin cutlet was also tender and delicious. Other menu items caught my interest too, so I'll go again!
