Wonderful place, no English translation but if you know what a fish’s lifecycle is about, you can understand and share it with your kid. I didn’t know salmon can camouflage and they have a basket to show you they change colors! Must visit place!
View on GoogleSmall aquarium/museum free of charge. You can learn about Salmon as well as feed them. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They also provide colour pencils and drawings for kids to enjoy. Definitely worth a quick 10-15 mins visit. The only drawback is the road to the museum is not paved, so need to drive slowly.
View on GoogleThis is an extremely nice place, very pedagogical and nicely maintain and with dedicated staff. As a researcher in aquaculture myself, I was very impressed by the quality of the outreach material and activities proposed to the public. Truly inspirational.
View on GoogleWhat is this sorcery? This place is amazing! It's FREE and very very educational even though it's small. We had such a good time feeding the salmon fry and releasing the fry into the river. There is some English but there's nothing that Google Translate can't help with. Also loved the colouring pages and craft. Amazing place that should be on everyone's stop. Especially if you eat salmon/ikura. We had kids aged 6-17. WE have also done the Chitose salmon museum a few years ago, I wouldn't mind returning to that but this was nice too since it's different.
View on Googlegreat exhibit, best is when you van release those fish to nature
