We came here in late July and they had Aiko tomatoes! They are delicious! I also got some tomato sauce. Don’t skip this one if you are a tomato lover like me!
View on GoogleLocated in Nishisato, Bifuka, a little outside central Bifuka. It's a restaurant run by farmers. Open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 11月 through the long holiday in 5月. Opening hours are 11:00〜19:59, and with a reservation you can dine from 20:00〜22:00. There are 3 counter seats and 2 tables for 2, seating a maximum of 7. However, the lady owner runs it alone, so it's recommended for people with time to spare. There is no banner outside in winter, so the location may be hard to find. The food uses homegrown vegetables, locally sourced meat and fish, and carefully selected ingredients, and is very delicious. The latest limited menu item is oyster and shungiku pasta. I recommend the dried tomato pasta and pizza made with “Aiko” fruit tomatoes harvested in summer. Their sweetness is concentrated and delicious. They sell vegetables directly in summer.
View on GoogleI visited last December. I was staying at Aoi Hoshi, and the owner told me about Suzuki Pumpkin. I visited around 4, and two people who looked like regulars were already seated. When they saw me come in, they helped clear the things from the window seat to make a place for me. So touching! Since I had to have dinner at my accommodation at 6, I ordered a light snack of pumpkin pound cake and a pumpkin latte. The handwritten paper menu was cute. Both the pound cake and latte tasted wonderful, and I liked the cinnamon aroma in the latte. The sun set while I was there, and it became dark. Bifuka isn't a big city, so there weren't many buildings or lights. The owner saw me off and worried about whether I'd be okay, which really touched me!🥺 I received such a warm welcome. If I go to Bifuka again, I definitely want to visit again🎃🧡
View on GoogleI visited early on Friday evening while staying at Aoi Hoshi! At first I thought the owner wasn't there, but if you ring the bell on the table, she'll come out!! (I found out because another local customer who arrived a little later told me😆) The shop is small and transportation is a little difficult, but I really wanted to go even if I had to walk, so I walked from Aoi Hoshi, taking pictures and enjoying the surrounding nature! It was cold, but the scenery was so beautiful that I enjoyed it. The food was really delicious too. The owner puts so much care into her cooking. I really enjoyed the recommended oyster and shungiku pasta, pumpkin latte, milk tea, and finally the melon shake:) The prices are low too!!! Once the sun went down, Bifuka's frightening cold brought the outdoor temperature down to minus 17 degrees...! The owner gave me hot water (90 degrees Celsius) and suggested throwing it outside, so I tried it, and the water froze immediately when I threw it. Such a fun experience...!!!! Thanks to the owner, I enjoyed delicious food and took home wonderful memories!! I'll come again:) It became a precious memory. I'll definitely go again! Thank you very much!
View on GoogleI stopped by after watching Bakgane on YouTube. The lady owner is really kind and cheerful. I ordered pumpkin pasta, pumpkin stew, and tomato pizza (the owner's recommendation), and they were really delicious!! Especially the tomato pizza, which I ordered on the owner's recommendation, was really, really delicious! The drinks served with the food were milk tea, melon shake, and pumpkin shake, and all were delicious. In particular, the two shakes were the best I've ever had in my life. The price is around 10,000 Korean won for one menu item including a drink, while a combination like this would cost at least 20,000–30,000 won in Korea, so it's excellent value too. If I ever come to Hokkaido again, I definitely want to come here! I also chatted a lot with the owner about various things through Papago.
