Visited on a weekend in February 2026 The ankake yakisoba here has a gentle, salt-based flavor with the umami of the vegetables melted into the sauce. There's no seafood in it, so it's not a punchy flavor, but it has the slowly spreading umami of Japanese dashi and the sweetness of the vegetables, making it easy to eat. Recommended when your stomach is weak or for those who don't like strong flavors. The back-fat miso ramen has a layer of oil on top but is surprisingly light, with a good balance of soup and noodles, and it went down smoothly. There isn't that much back fat, but there are lots of vegetable toppings like bean sprouts, onion, carrot, and cabbage, plus menma and chashu, and they all went well with the soup.
View on GoogleA restaurant on the 2nd floor of the roadside station. The staff were great and provided a comfortable space. The food may be on the lightly seasoned side.
View on GoogleMay 18, 2024 – lunch Entered at 11:00; there were no other customers. Ordered the katsu curry (1,250 yen), and it arrived in about 5 minutes. Nice aroma of spices—I love it. First a bite of the roux: not much heat. Looking at the cross-section of the cutlet, there was little fat, and when I tried it, as expected, it was very meaty, with a thin coating fried nice and crisp. Not very spicy, but as I kept eating my body warmed up—maybe the spice effect? The portion was normal; I didn't think it was small. Finished it quickly—a full and satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI'm a traveler from the mainland. First of all, at a glance I couldn't tell the restaurant was on the 2nd floor of the roadside station. I ordered something like a lamb Genghis Khan rice bowl. The meat was a bit red—was it okay? It had a strong gamey flavor I wasn't fond of, and after the meal I got a terrible upset stomach. If this is normal for lamb, I sincerely apologize.
View on GoogleOrdered the mega jumbo ankake yakisoba for 2,100 yen (2024.11). Looks like enough for about 3 people. The sauce is salt-based, but it's lacking and gets overpowered by the vegetables. All I could taste the whole time was napa cabbage. Also, meat and seafood show up at about UR-level odds. In terms of flavor, I'd recommend other menu items.
