A symbolic tower standing in "Bifuka Island," adjacent to the roadside station. Erected in 1990 (Heisei 2), it was built with wishes for Bifuka Island—a relaxing place to enjoy water and greenery—and for the safety of drivers on National Route 40. At the top of the tower is a statue of a Blakiston's fish owl, the symbol of Bifuka Town, and it's beloved as the facility's landmark. From the observation deck you can view the surrounding nature and the scenery of Bifuka Island, and many people stop by while taking a break at the roadside station.
View on GoogleThe view is nice, but there's no fall protection—in fact, it's built so you can walk right up to the edge and easily fall off, which is scary😱 Going for thrills?
View on GoogleBifuka's roadside station. Got to enjoy some rare sheep's milk. I guess it comes down to personal taste.
