A lovely place. I recommend stopping by while out for a drive! For those who remember the commercial from back then or owned a Kenmeri Skyline, wouldn't it bring back strong feelings?

Visited 25/3. An irresistible place for Skyline fans. This is a location used in a Skyline commercial. The famous trees nearby draw huge numbers of tourists, but here people often just stop briefly without getting off the bus, so it's relatively uncrowded.

Even though it's a tourist attraction, free parking is provided. But most people go right up to the tree and take photos with their cars or motorcycles in the shot (^_^)

This tree became famous through a 日産(Nissan) car television commercial in Shōwa 47 (1972) called “愛のスカイライン(Skyline of Love),” whose main characters KEN(ケン) and MARY(メリー) were filmed beneath this large tree; since then, this white poplar has been called the “KEN & MARY Tree（ケンとメリーの木）.
