The food was simply scrumptious! The Biei pork was crunchy, juicy and very tender. The udon noodles were thick and chewy which made it a good pairing with the flavourful curry dipping.😋😋 The amount of food I got was very worth the price I paid. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too!☺️ Would definitely come back here to eat whenever I visit Biei again! I came at about 11am and the place was not filled up yet but when I left at 1145hrs there was already a long queue forming up.😢 So I suggest having an earlier lunch!

Ducked in here around 2pm on a Friday and it was packed. Oh the advantage of being a solo traveler - I was offered counter seating with no wait. So my only problem was ordering. Instead of ordering from a menu, I was given a QR code for mobile ordering and it included wifi and password. This was a cellular deadzone, so to access the menu, you really needed wifi. But I tried so many times to access the wifi with the provided password and it simply didn't work. I ended up connecting to a different wifi, I think/hope/pray also affiliated with the restaurant and my credit card information is not compromised, but when I finally got it to work it was smooth sailing. I ordered a pretty standard pork cutlet and udon with curry for dipping. Maybe two pieces of the pork weren't great, but the rest was standard. Standard - but bad, not earth shattering, just a good meal. If given the option would I return? Perhaps. Or maybe I'd try another similar restaurant. The only ding to service was the snafu with ordering. The staff were polite and attentive. This was noticeably louder than other Japanese restaurants that I'm used to.

It’s a nice-sized restaurant — not too big, not too small — with Japanese-style seating. The food was super delicious, and the portions were huge! The best part is, it’s not expensive at all. I had lunch here and was so full I didn’t even need dinner. There’s free parking, and you can order easily through a QR code, which is really convenient for foreigners. The restaurant has been around for quite a while, and honestly, if I had to rate it out of 10, I’d give it a solid 10/10!

Certainly. Here’s a succinct and professional Google review you can use: ⸻ A hidden gem in Biei – this family-run restaurant served the best meal we’ve had in Hokkaido so far. Wholesome, home-cooked Japanese dishes Excellent value and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Local restaurant in Biei. Well known with home made decoration style with local Biei foods, like mother hands do it when you were young. Easy to access. There was free parking lot nearby, just a few walk to entrance door. There were table sit on the floor in Japanese style. Warm welcome with loud Japanese welcome style. All menus made from local ingredients, esp. Biei pork, one of the most famous pork in Japan. Vegetables were fresh. Tonkatsu, fried pork cutlet, was highly recommend menu. Thick pork cutlet fried with crunchy bread flour. Pork fried with ginger in Japanese style was nice and recommend. Potato fried was good. Rice with curry was nice and have to try. Kid menu was cute and well nutritions. Service was very good in Japanese style. Feel like visit friend's home for dining. Staffs could communicate in English very well. Highly recommend to everyone visit Furano or Biei. Lunch time must try here. Good for little children family too.
