The Biei Christmas Tree is a simple yet incredibly beautiful photo spot, especially during winter. A single tree standing alone in a vast snowy field creates a peaceful and almost surreal atmosphere. When covered in snow, the scenery feels like a postcard — clean, quiet, and truly magical. There’s nothing much to do here, but that’s exactly why it’s special. It’s a place to pause, take photos, and fully enjoy the natural beauty of Biei. A must-visit spot if you’re exploring Biei, especially in the winter season. View on GoogleVisited during the last light of the day, almost missed it — but totally worth it. A lonely tree standing quietly in the snow, peaceful and beautifully minimal. Simple, yet somehow everyone stops to take a photo. Highly recommend coming in the late afternoon for the best light and winter atmosphere ❄️ #Hokkaido #ChristmasTree #LonelyTree #WinterInJapan
View on GoogleI didn’t have high expectations before visiting the “Lonely Christmas Tree” in Hokkaido — I was simply curious to see what made it special. In reality, the tree itself is quite simple. But in winter, surrounded by snow, it creates a very poetic and calming atmosphere. If you have time, it’s worth stopping by. You’ll probably capture a photo you’ll really love. In the snowy landscape the tree looks especially beautiful, and the photo you take here will become a sweet memory.
View on Google- The best time to visit the tree is during sunset - Currently, there's plenty of snow - Parking is available beside the side road and it's free. Don't worry. There's staff guiding you where to park and lead you the way so cars or bus on the opposite end can pass easily (There's only one lane) - There's no wait to look at the tree. Gets a bit crowded, but the area is big. So you can stand whichever in front of the tree to take pictures
View on GoogleAn incredibly photogenic classic spot. Perfect snowy scenery vibes. But it gets really crowded, and honestly, there’s not much around except this tree. I’d recommend walking here from Bibaushi Station. The countryside views along the way are beautiful.
