The quality of the food isn't particularly amazing. It's about the level of Japanese home-style cooking. But since there are few options nearby, if you're traveling in the area, this is a good place to rest. I came to this place in the winter. The scenery outside the wooden cabin was very beautiful, especially sitting by the window with the sunlight streaming in – it felt so good. The staff here probably don't speak much English, but communicating with English and hand gestures is no problem. The staff's attitude is very good. However, you need to wait a little while for the food, but that's completely understandable. There are five or six parking spaces outside. I was so lucky to have rested and had lunch here. The feeling of a wooden cabin in the winter snow made me feel great. I highly recommend this place.

Only a few mins drive from shirahige waterfall. Not located at an obvious spot. But definitely worth to visit. It would be easier if you speak some Japanese. Food & services are great! Very cozy cafe with white snow view. We had beef stew, homemade apple pie and hot cocoa. Extremely satisfied! Owners are very kind too!

A hidden restaurant near Blue Lake with great ambience and tasty food. Hard to spot if you do not have exact address/map code. I drove past it even though I have it pinned on my Google map! I had hamburger set and pizza set the day I visited. Corn soup is rich and creamy, hamburger juicy, fresh tomato pizza is crispy.

I have ordered a dessert set. The cheese cake is tasty and soft. Highly recommened. This is a good spot to take a rest if you are on the way to blue pond with your bicycle.
