I visited for the first time on 2024年6月20日. I wanted to see the view from the observation tower, but it was locked and I couldn't get inside(^^;. Maybe because it was a weekday～(^^;. There was no one in this quiet, spacious park, perhaps because it was a weekday. There are lots of cherry trees, so it must be busy in spring. I wanted to go to ふる里の見える丘展望台, but the route was closed because of bear sightings(^^;.

It wasn't even winter, but it was locked and I couldn't enter. It's a shame you can't climb it, given that this observation tower overlooks the plain from high ground.

The route to the observation tower is hard to find. The tower has about 100 steps, so it's not too strenuous. The nearby pond and event venue seem to be an area where residents gather, but there was no one at this observation tower. It feels like a bit of a waste of a perfectly good observation tower.

A place full of memories. I remember burying a time capsule in elementary school. After that I transferred to a school in Iwate, But as an adult, I often go to Hokkaido and always visit this place. It must have been dug up by now～ What did I bury again～

The town where I was born. I live somewhere else now, but every so often I come home through Street View. I used to skip school and climb up here a lot😊
