I'd always been curious every time I drove along Route 12 but never had the chance to stop, so this was my first visit. The place is retro, yet ordering is by tablet and a serving robot is hard at work. However, payment is cash only. The menu is extensive, from single dishes to set meals. Being able to adjust the amount of rice is a nice touch. But the tablet isn't very user-friendly. Quite a few elderly people were confused. I ordered the Bibai rice-flour miso zangi & torimeshi set meal, and my companion ordered the torimeshi & ramen set. Zangi? It's a style where you dip unseasoned karaage into a sauce that's like vinegared miso. The torimeshi is seasoned on the strong side. The ramen is a light shio type, simple and something you won't tire of. The parking lot and seating are spacious, and the menu is extensive. The restroom is unisex but barrier-free and roomy. There's a wisteria trellis next to the parking lot, which must be beautiful in season. It seems you get homemade honey if your bill is 4,400 yen or more. Thank you for the meal.

Torimeshi and zangi set A highly satisfying set meal that lets you enjoy Bibai's specialties all at once. The torimeshi is infused with rich chicken flavor and has chicken pieces in it too, so the deliciousness spreads with every bite. The zangi is crispy outside and juicy inside, plenty filling. It comes with zangi sauce and a good portion of vegetables, making it a well-balanced dish. A recommended set meal where you can savor that all-chicken Bibai flavor. 😋🍚🐔 Grateful for a delicious encounter 😋 🍚🥢 ✨

2026/05 Visited for Sunday lunch around 13:10. Restaurant Fuji Kankō, which I'd been curious about every time I passed along National Route 12. From the name, sign, storefront, and the feel of the parking lot, I'd arbitrarily assumed it must be a drive-in for tour-bus groups specializing in Bibai's famous torimeshi and had avoided it, but when I looked at the Google Maps reviews, the menu was extensive and the prices reasonable! I had to go at least once! So in I went. When I entered, the staff told me to sit wherever I liked. Inside there are many 4-person tables and raised tatami seats, and the seats are spaced widely enough for social distancing, which is nice. The window seats were taken, so I sat at a table near the center. Ordering is by tablet. Forgive me, but I was surprised in a good way. I was glad there was also a paper menu on the table. I ordered the shio ramen and small torimeshi set, and my wife ordered the mixed fry plate from the lunch menu. Shortly after I ordered, the torimeshi sold out, so if you want the torimeshi, limited to 30 servings, I recommend arriving early. After a while, a serving robot delivered the food right in front of us. Amazing! They even have a serving robot—the interior has a Showa feel, but it's a high-tech restaurant. The shio ramen had a strong chicken broth and was delicious. The soup was so good I drank more than half, but I didn't get thirsty. The torimeshi was seasoned just right and tasty. The chashu was tender and good too. Shio ramen set, 1000 yen. Good taste and a good price. It was a very satisfying lunch. I'm curious about the other menu items too, so I'll probably be back for sure. By the way, the toilet has a washlet. I couldn't see the kitchen, but is the owner cooking alone? It looked like the place was run by 3 staff and 1 robot.

Today again I came to Fuji Kankō with a friend in search of delicious ramen! Unlike how it looks from the outside, you order on a tablet and a serving robot is busily at work! Looking at the menu, I ordered the torimeshi & ramen set, shio (1000 yen)! It arrived. Mine was brought by a staff member, but my friend's was brought by the robot! First, a sip of the soup: a clear soup that looks gentle even from the outside, chewy noodles, chashu with a soft bite soaked in soy-sauce tare, and the thin green onions and wakame are tasty too 😋 The torimeshi has a good amount of fat, nicely sized chicken pieces, just-right seasoning, and goes perfectly with the ramen soup—another delicious meal today 😋🍴💕! There was even an unusual menu item like an ebi fry & shio ramen set, and it's rare that the ramen only comes in miso and shio!

First visit The parking lot is very spacious, which is nice A serving robot 🤖 zooming around a place that feels historic (lol) I had the ramen & torimeshi set Simple shio ramen and slightly greasy torimeshi Not my type I guess it's like a classic old-school drive-in⁇ You can really feel the impact of the expressway and the serious labor shortage 🐮💦
