Deserted but beautiful, one can feel the harsh forces of nature here. It's like arriving at the end of the world, and one cannot help but sit down and reflect upon life. Cars are prohibited from going beyond the lighthouse, so the ultimate 4km can only be accessed on foot.

To the nice guy helped me - hope u can see this message. I lost my rain cover somewhere in the hoking trail and already gave up because of very strong wind. However on my way back i noticed it being tired to the sign by the side of the trail. Thanks a lot to whoever picked it and helped. The site has very unique view which u dont see anywhere else. U can see a lot dried tree and weeds making it a very astonishing white ground.

Beautiful area. One of my favorite spots in Japan. So much wildlife. Came here several times and saw deer and fox every time! Also not very many people here, at least in the winter.
