Popular among the locals for mixed furai (huraiteishoku - fish, shrimp, oyster, scallop). The fried items are not greasy and are served with a variety of pickled items to balance things out. The pork Katsu is also moist, and tastes pretty good.

Great food over expectation

Twice a year I go to eat shima shrimp tendon, timed to the shima shrimp fishing season. In 2021 it was July 11 and October 30. Every time I call to check, "I'm coming tomorrow, will you have it?" The fragrant tempura that you bite into head-first is superb. The miso soup with its rich dashi is also very delicious. In 2022 it was July 9.

Visited in early December. Due to the season, there was no Hokkai shima shrimp, which was a shame. They also hadn't stocked sushi toppings today, so they said they couldn't serve them. Reluctantly ordered the scallop tendon. The taste was very ordinary. The interior is nicely furnished. There didn't seem to be any other places for lunch around here, so I stopped by, but my impression was very ordinary. Some young fishermen were having a drink after work. It made me wonder, are they going to be okay with drunk driving?
