In a big building along a major road there was a bakery and a café. When I bought bread, they kindly gave me some rusks. I had them when I got a little peckish — lightly sweet rusks with a milky flavor, really delicious😍 Easy to stop by, recommended😊
View on GoogleA bakery that's been around for a long time. It's located toward Nakashibetsu from central Betsukai. There's also a café attached. I chose three items — crispy bacon, chikuwa bread, and ham onion — all 200 yen each, so 600 yen in total. Each one had a simple, homey flavor. Good for everyday visits.
View on GoogleThe wheat and butter used here are 100% from Hokkaido, and they're particular about ingredients, so you can eat with peace of mind. And this quality at these low prices! Chocolate chip cookies, granola, cornflake cookies, and more — delicious! Supermarket snacks are full of additives (>_<) You can buy them cheaply here, so I'd really love for growing kids to eat these If you come to Betsukai, please stop by #AdditiveFreeBread #HokkaidoWheatBread #BetsukaiCafe #BetsukaiBread
View on GoogleI went in drawn by the handmade bread, but there weren't as many kinds of bread as I expected. There's an eat-in space with light meals, sweets, and drinks. You can also eat the bread you bought here. The menu said honey bread, but it was probably caramel (^^; Still, the coffee and toast were both delicious.
View on GoogleBetsukai Town Another rural town in Hokkaido Its area is twice the size of Tokyo With only a little over 15,000 people Yet it raises 120,000 cows So naturally you have to drink the milk here in big gulps A restaurant recommended by bloggers, Café Oak (OAK) Uses Hokkaido wheat and Betsukai milk in its dishes (scallop burger) I thought it was pretty good If you choose 300CC milk with the set, you can take the cup home If you don't want the cup, you can upgrade straight to 500CC milk If you want to experience a different kind of Japanese food consider this place There's also plenty of parking space
