Some of the best pork I have ever eaten, some of the best meat even. Sure it is smoking friendly but man is it delicious. Reasonable price too.

Visited in mid-2026.05 It is a tonkatsu restaurant during the day and an izakaya at night. I've visited for lunch several times, but every time I end up ordering the limited-quantity 「リブロースかつ定食」. It takes about 25 minutes to arrive, but it is well worth the wait. At around 2000円, it is a little pricey, but the extra-thick cutlet, which looks to be about 350g and roughly 35mm thick, is surprisingly tender. With every bite, you can really taste the sweetness and savoriness of the fat from 米愛豚 (mairabuta). The coating is light and crisp, and I was also impressed that despite its size, it hardly felt heavy even toward the end. I think this is a dish that lets you fully enjoy the deliciousness of Atsuma's branded pork. Honestly, it is pretty difficult to get this quality at this price in Sapporo. Rice refills cost 100円, but a large serving is free, which is appreciated. There are plenty of other tempting dishes, including pork chop, tonteki, shio katsudon, tare katsudon, sizzling-plate katsu set meals, menchi katsu, and curry. Inside, there are about 4 counter seats, 2 tables for 4, and 2 tables for 6. Other businesses share the building, but the restaurant entrance is immediately on the left after you enter the shared doorway. It is popular, so regardless of whether it is a weekday or holiday, after 12 it is often full and the parking lot fills up too. I got the impression that quite a few people give up and leave after seeing the wait for seats or the cooking time. I recommend visiting a little early. There is a gravel parking area beside the restaurant (on the intersection side), with what looks like space for about 8 cars, but there are no marked bays, so parking takes a little care.

This restaurant serves tonkatsu made with the local branded pork 「米愛豚」, raised on rice from Atsuma. I ordered 厚切りロースカツ定食 (250g). Above all, it was cooked perfectly. The pork was moist and juicy, and its savory flavor spread through my mouth. It was the tastiest tonkatsu I have eaten this year. Both the price and quality were excellent. I often go to the butcher across the road to buy jingisukan, but I never imagined there was such a delicious tonkatsu restaurant here…. One personal downside: as a nonsmoker, I wish they would make the restaurant smoke-free.

The 厚切りロースカツ was fantastic. 1600円 is cheap for this flavor and portion (250g). Everything else, like hire katsu and roast pork? is excellent too.

Went in around 17:00. The 厚切りロースカツ I was after was available at night too! It was my first visit, but the private rooms for parties were fully booked, so I ate at the counter. There are 4 counter seats. I was surprised when it arrived: it was served on a stylish dish resembling a large basket or tray. Salt, sauce, and mustard let you change up the flavor, and it was even more delicious than I imagined. The portion was plenty too, and rice refills are +100円. It was the most satisfying tonkatsu I have ever eaten. If I can eat this for 1,500円, I would want it every week. I saw it on TV and came that same day, and it really made me glad I did. I'll definitely be back.
