I ordered the Cheese Naan Plate set It comes with cheese naan, chicken, keema curry, small vegetables, a drink, and dessert The keema curry was really spicy and just my taste! It goes so well with the cheese naan! It was more filling than it looks, but I polished it off in no time There also seem to be single-item curries (large portions available too) and omurice, so I'd like to go again The view was nice and the shop's atmosphere was lovely too
View on GoogleVisited around 11:15 on 2025.08.17 There's a marker post beside National Route 227, so you won't get lost even on a first visit. I had the keema curry (w/ naan) and the genovese (gyoja garlic) pizza. ※For the drink, a "strong iced coffee" My overall impression: the shop uses spices properly, yet the flavor is gentle. The portions are on the "small" side. For adult men or those who want to eat a lot, it may be overwhelmingly insufficient. Curry The complex umami of the spices comes through, and it feels like a curry made with care. However, for those who like the sharply spicy curries popular these days, it may feel lacking in heat. For those who can't handle spicy food and for children, standard; for those who find store-bought retort or roux sweet-spicy, I recommend "medium"; for those who find store-bought medium, order "hot" or "extra hot". If you normally eat store-bought hot, or add heat with sauce, Tabasco, or chili peppers... don't expect much heat... you can probably guess. The naan has a solid dough and is delicious even on its own. Both the curry and the naan are small portions. Adult men will probably find it unsatisfying. For women and children standard is fine; if you want to eat well, increase the portion. ※I also recommend adding extra naan. ※The pumpkin is delicious! I'd love it if the menu had a pumpkin add-on. Pizza The dough is well risen, truly homemade-pizza-like. The flavor of the dough itself is distinct, completely different from big chains like Pi◯◯ra or Domi◯◯ Pizza. Also, the dough doesn't smell of the oven. It varies by person, but oven smell can sometimes smell bad so I don't like it much. Here, the pizza dough has no oven smell and the pizza's flavor fills your mouth. The pairing and amount of gyoja garlic with the dough are well calculated, and the marriage (I just wanted to say it... sorry) as a pizza is irresistible. But... the size... is small. It seems smaller than a big chain's S size. It's definitely too little for an adult man. You'd have to eat 3 normally or your stomach will keep growling. Coffee I ordered a strong iced coffee. Coffee lovers might call it heresy... but. True to the name, it's an iced coffee with a pleasant bitterness. Also, there is a beautiful foam on the surface, so I think it isn't brewed then chilled, but freshly brewed hot coffee made into iced coffee. (I have a dull palate, so bear with me) Shop It has a somewhat log-house feel and the interior is bright. Also, pop-jazz easy listening is playing, making it a quiet, relaxing shop. A hideaway shop packed with reasons to want to come again. ※From here, heading toward Hakodate, on the opposite lane of National Route 227 there's a roadside vegetable stand, and the corn and watermelon here are maximum satisfaction in both taste and price. How about stopping by after Campesino. Search "北海道あっさぶ・ささき直売所".
View on GoogleIt stands alone, a little away from the national road. The building's construction and the smell of the wood stove create a nice atmosphere. I chose the "Campesino Plate" that carries the shop's name. It's a one-plate set of keema curry, chicken, rice, naan, and salad. The chicken was placed on the keema curry, so I thought it was an ingredient of the keema curry (lol). Spiciness and portion size can be changed (for a fee). Seating is on the 1st floor and also on the 2nd floor. The keema curry was delicious too, but the naan was even better. Crispy around the edges, with solid flavor. I also tried a bit of the cheese naan, and it's full of cheese and delicious too! There's parking in front of the shop, for 3 cars. April 2025
View on GoogleLovely shop staff and a shop with atmosphere. Shino-chan the goat was having a relaxed lunchtime. The location is quite out of the way, but if you have time I think it's worth taking a leisurely trip. I had the Cheese Omurice Curry (medium), with a "ka" drawn in ketchup that makes a strong impression, the classic Campesino Plate, a light café au lait, and chai. Every menu item was spicy, authentic curry. The naan also has little butter, so it's easy to eat. The salad dressing seems to have a rich oil on it and was very delicious. The chai's lovely aroma settled my stomach after the meal. The parking lot looks like it fits about 7 cars. I came back again. I had the "Ka"-marked Omurice Curry extra hot, Chicken Curry medium, iced coffee, and strong iced coffee. Sunday lunchtime. It was crowded, but the owner served us with a smile. The strong iced coffee has a deep flavor and is very satisfying. The extra hot Omurice Curry was properly spicy and I was drenched in sweat. The vegetables in the Chicken Curry were tender, and the carrots were sweet and delicious. I came back again. I had the Naan Sandwich avec set (changed to spicy chicken) and a Margherita pizza. I chose lassi for the set. It was a thick, very satisfying lassi. The vanilla ice cream is rich and full of vanilla beans. The naan sandwich is of course delicious, and the freshly baked pizza is the best.
View on GoogleI used the terrace seating with my beloved dog. The pizza with gyoja garlic was delicious, including the dough. The soup curry used vegetables from local Assabu and was also fairly good. The terrace also lets you enjoy a nice atmosphere in nature, but there were quite large horseflies (thumb-sized) and other bugs… If you dislike bugs, it might be a bit rough.
