Many of the dishes are mostly prepped in advance, and they give more of a feeling of being properly finished than dishes like sautés or grills. The menu has many classics, so in terms of surprise you might find it lacking, but it's impressive that they get results with a straightforward approach. The basic menu is omakase, but venison and foie gras seem to appear often. Tastes differ, so it's wise to tell them in advance when you reserve. On the way out, we were politely asked, "Was it to your liking?" It was to my liking, and the amount was satisfying too, so I headed home full.

I visited for the first time in 6.5 years. Since my child is leaving Asahikawa for a job, we enjoyed the full course, billing it as a 'last supper'. The food was, as always, all very careful and full of depth. Every dish was so delicious that we couldn't help voicing it. The interior has changed a little from 6.5 years ago and feels cleaner and neater. It's fully reservation-only, and we enjoyed the course at leisure with only our family. In a homey, relaxing atmosphere, delicious dishes for our family arrived one after another at the best timing. We felt like we spent a very special time, very satisfied‼️ I'd like to go again.

You can enjoy authentic course meals (reservation required) You can also listen to records, and just drinks are OK! There are also displays of goods, magazines, and posters from the Mikoshi-kai (portable shrine association), which show the owner's diverse hobbies.

The atmosphere of the shop and the chef's unpretentious personality were a perfect match. The food was also wonderful, making it the best dinner. Five stars.
