I ordered ichibo steak, and received dry, rock-hard meat that looked nothing like the photo. When I pointed out that it was far too overcooked, they cooked it again, but frankly, it wasn't good. The Hokkaido version of what is called BIG Boy in Honshu. When I feel like, “I just want to eat vegetables!” I go for the salad bar rather than the meat or hamburger steaks. With vegetable prices soaring lately, being able to fill up on vegetables is something to be thankful for.

The hamburger steak is a little underwhelming, but the salad bar is lovely, and I was satisfied with all the vegetables I could eat. Fruiche is gone, but they have jelly. I visited in the evening, and it looked like about 2 staff members were running things. Well, it was quiet, so they were managing just fine, with plenty of room to spare.

With more and more Victoria locations disappearing from Asahikawa, this is a valuable remaining branch. Nearby are Michi-no-Eki Asahikawa, Coop Sapporo, DCM, and Camera no Kitamura, so the location is very good. Parking is no problem either. The interior is fairly clean and a comfortable size. You can enjoy a very pleasant meal.

I've visited several times, but the flavor is too strong for me every time. The interior is bright with a nice atmosphere, and the staff are very good too. Many families also come here.
