It was a cold snowy day. After our visit to Asahikawa zoo, we decided to grab lunch. With just a few kilometres away, we decided to stop by at Swan for lunch. The interior is warm and cozy. The staff are very friendly, typical of Japanese hospitality. Food and drinks were delicious. I have some screenshots of their menu for your perusal (it'sin Japanese so you can doyour own translation). Overall a nice experience. Will drop by again if ever I'm back in town.

Service staff were very patient & helpful even though they couldn’t speak English. The cheese hamburger set & ebi curry were very delicious. Definitely recommend to come if you’re in Asahikawa

Cosy atmosphere. Perfect for winter. The people here are warm and kind . Try the mentaiko pasta. Special !

Fantastic spot!!!!

My first visit to SWAN. The interior is a Showa-era coffee shop and comfortable. I had the thick-cut bacon carbonara, and my wife had the shrimp-broth ebi fry curry. As usual we shared half and half. The carbonara wasn't too sticky and was even better with a little Tabasco. I was also happy that the curry can be tailored to taste with garam masala. A satisfying weekend lunch for the two of us.
