I’ll call it blessing in disguise. I was supposed to go to another restaurant but it turns out that the it needs reservation so I just walked into this place with no expectation at all. Everything changed the moment I stepped in. The host is very friendly, I suppose they’re husband & wife handling everything just together. The food is delicious, especially the curry. It’s not fancy but feels so homey. Just like dining at your own neighbour’s.

Finally, a restaurant with food that matches its cool aesthetic. The interiors transport you to 50s America while American-inspired Japanese music plays. The bestseller katsucurry was dark but surprisingly balanced and not overpowering. Best of all, the food is reasonably priced. The waitstaff were so polite.

Absolutely fantastic Japanese "family restaurant" style cooking. The katsu curry was a perfect rendition of what katsu curry should be. The hayashi omurice was also excellent. Each meal came with a small salad full of fresh lettuce, shredded cabbage and a surprising corn flavored dressing. Worth the visit and wait.

5 Stars for sure. Taste is good. Vibe is warm. Service is very good and authentic Japanese style. Pork ginger that tasty. Try it. The downside is that the smell of smoke lingers on you because of poor ventilation.

My favorite lunch spot! If you're an American looking for a piece of home, the food isn't authentic American diner food. That said, everything on their menu is DELICIOUS. In particular, their pork chop lunch is my favorite! The atmosphere is also really nice, with golden oldies playing and a TV running old musicals or classic cartoons on it. Prices are really reasonable and service is great! Their takeout menu is nice, too~
