A legendary Asahikawa ramen spot since 1952! The shoyu broth (pork, chicken & lard) stays incredibly hot and is an absolute umami bomb! Tried the Yasai Chashu Shoyu Ramen for ¥1500. Delicious! The chashu was good, and you can't beat a recipe that's been perfected since 1952. Be prepared to wait—there was a massive line before opening on a Thursday! Credit cards & Suica accepted. Friendly staff and a clean, nostalgic atmosphere. Definitely worth the hype
View on GoogleAuthentic ramen shop with locals dining in it. The ramen was salty so my mom couldn't handle it lol. I think it's a bit heavy especially if you're not used to eating "unhealthy" or heavily seasoned food. But if you like a thick, heavy flavour you'll really like the depth of flavour in the soup. I did. But even I couldn't really finish the soup and the amount of noodles given. It's quite a lot. Of course the pork I could finish but the pork isn't really super tender so you'll have to chew. I got the pork and vegetables (miso) one and the vegetables seem to be either chives or leeks haha or bean sprouts. Either way, thank you for the meal and service!
View on GoogleShop is very small, the waiting area is small as well. I love their shoyu ramen! There's no free parking though so you will have to incur parking fees eating there. Card payment available which is great!!
View on GoogleGood ramen at a very reasonable price, what more can you ask for? Had the Miso Vegetable Ramen with side of corn and rice. A line started to form around 5:45pm and had grown to about 30 minute wait by time I left, so be warned this place is popular with locals.
View on GoogleStaffs are really friendly, food is good, price is super reasonable. We tried miso ramen and salt-flavour ramen - they are very delicious. But the highlight of the meal is actually gyozas (it's so good I finished them quick w/o taking any pictures) - very tasty and easy to take alongside ramen.
