「A familiar neighborhood shop where you can casually eat your fill」 We serve carefully crafted ramen and freshly fried zangi. ・Our carefully made homemade noodles use selected wheat, primarily 「ゆめちから」 ・Rich, cloudy white soup cooked over high heat in a dedicated pressure cooker ・Although we are a 「noodle shop」, zangi is the real star. Our signature 『ジャンボザンギ』 is ordered by 7 out of 10 customers. The most popular dish is 『熟成あらごし味噌らーめん』. Please enjoy the many flavors that 麺や虎鉄 takes pride in.

Visited in February 2026 at 9:30 at night. The zangi here really is delicious. Crispy outside and juicy inside, it is thoroughly satisfying even late at night. This time I also had abura soba, but personally I found it fairly standard. Still, the last order being at 0:00 is a very welcome point. Many shops in Asahikawa close early, so being easy to visit late at night is a real strength. It is a useful place when you want a hearty meal at night, and personally it is still a shop I want to visit for the zangi.

The miso is delicious. I do not understand the concept behind the shoyu. Because it emphasizes heaviness and richness, the quality of the noodles and soup does not come through. The meal-ticket machine accepts electronic money and such, and even lets you choose your ramen preferences. Water, tissues, and toothpicks with interdental brushes are provided; they meet everything customers want, which is wonderful✨

The ramen is delicious. (I visit other branches too) It was my first time at the Asahikawa Omachi branch. Perhaps to make it look stylish, the counter seats get no light at all and are far too dark, so the ramen does not look appetizing at all. When I tried to read the menu to order more, the lettering was small and it was dark, so with my developing farsightedness I could not read it and gave up ordering. I would like them to consider customers' different circumstances and needs when planning the dining area, especially the counter. Precisely because the ramen is delicious, I want this improved. And the ordering ticket machines are so hard to use that it is depressing even at other branches, so I would like an overall improvement there.

I usually have aragoshi miso with the 2-zangi set meal, but for a change I had koku-uma abura soba with the 2-zangi set meal. It came with the zangi placed on top of the abura soba, and having 2 already-large pieces of zangi on top makes it hard to mix and incredibly difficult to eat…(sweat) I do not know whether abura soba is originally served this way, but although the abura soba section of the menu says 『We also recommend topping it with zangi or tonkatsu』, isn't that ultimately each person's choice…? Personally, the zangi on top was terribly in the way when eating the abura soba. Also, there was no cabbage, which comes with the ramen set meal. The set meal costs the same whether it is ramen or abura soba, yet there is no cabbage. Is this just the style for abura soba…?? I would have liked it served normally on a separate plate and left to personal preference, or a choice of whether to have it placed on top from the start. At least someone eating it for the first time would not know.
