My favorite coffee shop in Asahikawa by far! Bit of a walk to get there from the hotel but it was worth it. Not a lot of espresso based coffee in the area from what I have experienced but this place does it more than well. This is a small place. There are only around 4 tables and maybe an additional 4 seats. The design is nice and warm and I could honestly picture myself spending an entire afternoon here on a snowy or a rainy day. The are curios and other small items available for sale just near the door. The coffee options are well thought out and the freshly baked pastries are really good as well. It’s amazing how all of this is being done by one person only. Will definitely sell this place out the next time i am in the area. It’s one of the places that I will really miss from my visit!
View on GoogleAs I stepped into this place, everything look familiar and it just hit me that I've been here more than 5 years ago. Almost everything still looks the same, especially the colourful and bright colour seats near the entrance. The baristas is warm and welcoming, maple coffee smells and taste great. Lemon cake is heavenly. Highly recommend
View on GoogleFell in love with this place when I happened to walk pass it. It has an artistic interior. Only managed to try out their espresso and scone the next morning as I was in a rush. They were both really good. Wish I could have dined in and soak in the ambience and enjoy the art displayed/on-sale.
View on GoogleWe absolutely loved this place. First, the place is very calm and has a relaxing atmosphere. The guy behind the counter (I assume, he's the owner) is probably the main reason for this. He is very friendly, even to us foreigners, speaks a little bit of English and definitely knows how to make a delicious latte. Still, some polite manners and words in japanese are highly recommended. He deserves that effort from your side. Second, the coffee is awesome! It does not happen a lot, that we go for a second round. But the coffee was so good that we couldn't resist getting a second one. A highly recommend place.
View on GoogleI’d say it’s one of the best coffee houses in town hands down. Curiously a bit more milky than your average latte but the barista absolutely crushed it at finding the right balance. I thoroughly enjoyed it - and that’s coming from a person who is lactose intolerant. 100% worth it. Also? The price for the sheer size of the mug you get is amazing. Can’t shake a stick at this place for having affordable coffee when it blazes past fancier café coffee that costs the fluffier part of your kidney. Ordered two huge mugs of awesome coffee for under a 1000yen.
