This is the best mountain food I’ve ever had, very reasonably priced too! :)
View on GoogleWhy does katsu curry after skiing taste this good? A classic look, just what you'd expect from slope-side food. Rich, strongly flavored curry sauce with freshly fried, crispy katsu. It's not especially spicy, but the richness and saltiness are just right for a tired body. The katsu is reasonably thick and satisfying too. The way to go is to coat it generously in curry and shovel it down with the rice. The speed and reassurance you'd expect from a self-service restaurant. Coming back from the cold outdoors and eating steaming curry is the best. In the end, ski-resort katsu curry never lets you down. A dish that can taste even better than usual depending on your condition.
View on GoogleKing of Kamui With a food name this cool, you just want to conquer it (finish it), right! Apparently it used to be 1,500円 ages ago, but now it's 3,800円 It's described as 2 portions of curry + toppings, so there's about enough for 3 people. The fried items and curry were both delicious. Thank you for the meal 🍛
View on GoogleOn the first day, I had “katsudon.” It came with miso soup containing fu and wakame, plus takuan. The meat was properly thick, with a rather nice katsu cross-section. The colors of the chopped naruto and nori were nice too. It was also good that the ingredients included shiitake, not just onions. On the second day, I had “gukbap.” It's very unusual for a place like this to serve gukbap. Packed with pork, eggs, and vegetables, and piping hot. I ate it with a suitable amount of chili oil and ichimi. The rice portion was quite generous too. It warms you right through.
