There's no parking lot You need to climb the stairs straight up Once you reach the top, there's an observation tower to climb even farther up From here you can see downtown Akkeshi and the torii gate in the sea. The view is fantastic! You can also see the sunset from the stairs on the other side Recommend coming in the late afternoon!

I visited in year 2024, month 6, while running during my travels The stairs to the observation deck are quite a climb, but the view from the deck is worth seeing Do give it a visit

The stairs were exhausting. They were so, so exhausting that I thought about turning back halfway, but I drove my body on so hard that even Katsumi Minai would have been surprised, and made it all the way up. When I reached the top, I felt like I'd conquered the world (over a little hill like this) As a lazy tourist, I'd be happy if I could come by car, but I suppose the view is valuable precisely because you have to walk up to see it. The scenery is nice, the oysters are delicious, and the Hanasaki Line is running too (oppose its closure‼️) Akkeshi is a lovely town.

No waiting needed, a high vantage point with beautiful scenery, offering a bird's-eye view of all of Akkeshi and Lake Akkeshi

A truly first-class observation deck overlooking Akkeshi's townscape and the entire lake Early in the morning, climb more than 300 steps up the hill There's a wooden observation facility; climb the spiral stairs and you can see far away from Mount Musa and Mount Shari to the Akan mountains, with Akkeshi's townscape spread across its unusual terrain below and almost all of Lake Akkeshi, where oyster farming thrives An overwhelmingly spectacular view unfolds It takes physical effort, but this hidden gem is an absolute must. A round trip takes about 20〜25 minutes An area with frequent fox and deer sightings
