I stopped by when visiting Akkeshi Station to collect an エキタグ. I was very lucky to be able to buy a freshly made bento. The rice was thoroughly infused with the savory flavor of shellfish, with deliciousness spreading through every bite. The scallops, oysters, and other shellfish were cooked plump while retaining their natural flavors, leaving me very satisfied. My son, who has a milk allergy, kept saying, “Delicious!” We both eagerly finished everything. I was also very happy that we could enjoy the same food together without worrying about dairy products. This ekiben let us fully experience the bounty of Akkeshi's sea and became a memorable part of our trip. It is a specialty I highly recommend trying when visiting Akkeshi Station to collect エキタグ or travel along the Hanasaki Line. If you find it freshly made, I recommend it even more.
View on GoogleImpressive! Heaped-up 盛り盛りかきめし‼︎ I bought it at a Hokkaido fair at Abeno Harukas in Osaka. Since I was there, I chose the bento with the most oysters. The rice was sprinkled with shredded nori and seasoned slightly sweet, so even the rice alone was delicious! I was very satisfied.
View on GoogleI had their oyster rice at a sales event. The moment I took a bite, the rich savory flavor of the oysters filled my mouth, and I was amazed! The seasoning of the rice cooked with the ingredients was just right, and I finished it in no time. If I see it somewhere again, I definitely want to buy it.
View on GoogleA Momotetsu trip. I visited 氏家待合所, where the カキめし bento shop at Akkeshi Station originated. The area in front of the station felt a little lonely. Even so, they were still operating steadily. I had 氏家かきめし. The plump, well-seasoned oysters matched the seasoned rice. I can see why it became famous nationwide. Their website seems to say that telephone orders can be accommodated outside regular hours and delivered to your train. If I come across it again, I would like to enjoy it again.
