This place is great for a late lunch. Only opened from 10:00 to 16:00 and caters to locals or drivers. If you are in the area and want some wholesome food — this is it! Precise are very affordable and you get so much for your money. I made a mistake ordering everything in L (大盛) and we couldn’t finish our meals. But everything was really fresh!

What I ordered was, of course, the large size of the "Aibetsu Kinoko Don." What surprised me with the first bite was how delicious the maitake was. It had a lovely aroma and a firm texture, and I was moved that it could be this delicious. The slightly sweet sauce was also full of the savory flavor of the mushrooms, and the rice just kept disappearing. It was a bowl that made me honestly think "I'm glad I came to eat here!", and I was very satisfied.
View on GoogleTake the national highway from Asahikawa toward Kamikawa, and it's a short distance from Naka-Aibetsu Station. The shop is across from the park golf course. There are lots of nobori banners standing, so you'll spot it right away. It seems to be run by a married couple? The wife serves in the dining area with a friendly manner. Inside there are tables and a counter, and it's a clean, tidy shop. The menu has a great many items, from set meals to noodles to alcohol. This time I had the "Katsudon (1,100 yen)" mentioned in the reviews. The main katsudon comes with miso soup, a small side dish (chilled tofu), and pickles. The cutlet is quite thick but very tender, and the more you chew, the more sweetness seeps out (made with Hokkaido-raised sanyuan pork). Also, lots of maitake mushrooms are simmered in egg together with the cutlet, the heat is perfectly done and the texture is pleasantly crunchy. The seasoning strength is just right, and the flavor doesn't get boring until the last bite. The miso soup was also served piping hot, and overall it was a very satisfying dish. Next time I'd like to try the delicious-looking curry that the person next to me was eating. Thank you for the meal♪
