A soba shop that appeared on the Abashiri guide gourmet map. It said it had won a Michelin Hokkaido Bib Gourmand, so I was curious and visited. I came using car navigation, but the location may be a little hard to find. From the look of it, a perfectly ordinary soba shop. The feel of a small soba shop that you'd find in any town. Inside isn't very large. A few counter seats, and a tatami area. After all, to enjoy the soba's original flavor, simple cold soba is best. I ordered a large mori soba. Nothing special, a perfectly ordinary mori soba. But it has a strong chew and the soba flavor, and it's delicious. The soba tsuyu is also neither too sweet nor too salty, just right. The staff are also easygoing, a homey kind of shop where you can eat calmly.
View on GoogleI was finally able to go❗️ It's a famous shop of Abashiri. I had the kaki soba (oyster soba). Plenty of oysters from Lake Mokoto‼️ Yummy🎵 The soba broth is thin like Kansai udon broth, but that makes the oyster flavor stand out even more. A broth you can drink all of. It was extremely delicious. Thank you for the meal☀️
View on GoogleI had the ten zaru. The soba is hand-made, so you can enjoy its aroma. The buckwheat flour is a little coarse, but it brings out good flavor. The tempura... I wouldn't particularly recommend it?
View on GoogleThe noodles are a bit dry and crumbly, but fragrant. The warm oyster soba has delicious creamy Mokoto oysters and broth ☺️ I'd want to eat this again ♪ What shocked me was the tsubu soba 🥢 Super tender tsubu (whelk) with a cold broth, I was just amazed‼️ Well, I've had it once so that's enough, I guess... 😅
View on GoogleI had the tsubu soba, and the amount of tsubu (whelk) is outrageous. The soba itself is delicious, so even zaru soba would surely be good. It's a shop I want to go to again. Addendum I also had the zaru soba. When you eat the soba as it is, the aroma of the soba spreads. The dashi is well developed too, and delicious. The soba-yu is smooth and has a solid soba flavor. It was delicious!
