A very nice Ramen Restaurant in Abashiri. Very delicious.
View on GoogleFast and very delicious, great options!
View on GoogleInside the shop there were counter seats, a small raised tatami area, and table seats. Right after you enter (on the left) there's a meal ticket machine. It's a touch panel, so once you pay (various cashless payments are OK), the ticket drops out. You hand the ticket to the staff and can customize the noodle firmness, the amount of fat, the soup strength, and so on 🤗 I thought it was great that they make it to each person's preference. I think the noodles are on the thick side. It was cold, so it tasted especially good. I got the chashu men for both the shoyu and the miso. I also ordered chahan and a koro-chaa don! The menu is so extensive that it's hard to choose. Thank you for the meal 😋 There's parking space in front of the shop, which is nice.
View on GoogleThere's no Yamaokaya near my hometown. Since it was a rare opportunity I came across by chance, I went in. Sunday, a little past 11, about half full. The tonkotsu smell inside the shop was so strong I was startled. I ordered shoyu ramen with firm noodles and extra, plus the weekend-only gyoza rice. Since I'm used to direct-lineage Iekei ramen, the mild soup felt a little lacking. I could have gone for the rich version. The gyoza were crisply grilled and delicious. The problem was the rice. The amount was astonishing. A half portion of rice would have been enough. I left a bit, sorry. The staff were polite in their service.
View on GoogleThe shop is filled with the smell of pork bone Even when there's a line, turnover is quick The noodles are thin The soup is tonkotsu The soup is very hot, so it's delicious The roast pork is ordinary
