Yummy~~~taste great
View on GoogleI’m quite not into ramen, but this restaurant is really good! The shio soup is light and refreshing, with nice sous-vided chashu pork.
View on GoogleThis shop has limited business days and hours so it's hard to get into, but I happened to manage to get in. It's packed, no question. You buy a meal ticket at the ticket machine, wait your turn, carry the food to your seat yourself once it's ready, eat, and return the dishes yourself at the return counter. If you order rice, you serve yourself and carry it over; chopsticks, spoons, and water are self-service too. There aren't many seats, but unless you're in a big group you can get seated. I ordered the Tokujo Mise Ramen and the motsuni set. It seemed like different noodles were used depending on the flavor, or did I misread? I took a sip of the ramen soup This is a hit! There's no absolute right answer with ramen, but this flavor is to my taste. I wish the noodles were a bit softer. The motsu was delicious too. However, with ramen and rice both, I could barely finish the soup. If you can eat a lot, rice is all-you-can-eat so it's good. It's best when delicious food comes in moderate amounts. For these days, it's not that expensive.
View on GoogleTaste, atmosphere, service, truly ☆5 On my last day in Abashiri, I stopped by to eat before getting on my plane. The flow is built into the layout: buy a meal ticket at the entrance, pick up at the counter, then go into the shop. The Jo Ramen (Kami Ramen) has a clear, clean soup that's still deeply flavorful. The noodles are well balanced, and the toppings are neither too much nor too little. I could really enjoy both the soup and noodles. Rice is self-serve and all-you-can-eat, but you can't eat that much, right (lol). Maybe it's meant for college students? You return your dishes yourself too. Thanks for the meal. I'm glad my last meal in Abashiri was here ✨ Oh, afterwards I had the gelato right across the street and then headed to Memanbetsu. I'll go again 😁
View on GoogleVisited during my stay in Abashiri. Since it was my first visit, my family ordered the "Kami Ra-men" that I'd heard was the standard, and I ordered the miso ramen. When you enter, you first buy a meal ticket at the vending machine, then like a school cafeteria, you take a tray, chopsticks, and a soup spoon to the counter. Serving was very fast, and the short wait is a plus. The miso ramen had a rich, full-bodied miso soup that went perfectly with the curly egg noodles typical of Hokkaido. As a ramen to eat in a cold region, it was a very satisfying bowl. The "Kami Ra-men" recommended for first-timers also had well-balanced toppings, and my family was satisfied. Business hours are a bit short, until 15:00, but I came a little before 15:00 and got in without any problem. If you plan to go after noon, I recommend arriving early. I think it's a ramen shop typical of Abashiri where you can eat quickly between sightseeing. Also, the all-you-can-eat rice for 200 yen made me curious, but I had dinner plans so I held back.
