Absolutely loved the dining experience, everything about this place screamed Showa, it's akin to a walk back to 30-40 years ago as soon as you enter the restaurant! Really nice ambiance and decor, mom and pop family diner style, the owner who runs the store is very friendly and I just loved watching him cook while having conversations with him in Japanese. The food tasted excellent and the prices are very friendly, overall 10/10 score, make sure you stop by!

View on GoogleBest okonomiyaki I've ever had! We had no trouble ordering with some very basic Japanese and the help of Google translate for the menu.
View on GoogleBeen there twice, once in 2016 & again in 2018, both times on a cycle tour in Hokkaido. The food & the atmosphere at 8 Bells was SUPER. FULLY recommend this gem of a restaurant
