If you're in Jogja, you absolutely have to eat at Kedai Makan Mbak Pesta. Why 'Mbak Pesta' (Miss Party)? Because the owner's name is Mbak Parti, and if you translate 'party' to Indonesian, it means 'pesta'! Visiting this place really makes you lose all self-control because there are just so many appetizing dishes to try. They don’t just serve main courses; they also offer a huge variety of snacks and drinks. So, the name 'Mbak Pesta' is honestly a perfect fit. If you want to eat here, it’s best to come early in the morning. We once arrived around lunchtime, and everything was completely sold out. People usually start crowding the place in the morning before they even begin serving food. It’s like a bunch of runners lined up at the starting line, waiting for the starter gun to go off for a marathon—except here, everyone is ready to sprint and grab as much food as possible! The restaurant layout is also unique, featuring several separate traditional Javanese Joglo houses. Plus, it's located right by the rice fields, making the whole vibe super cozy and full of countryside charm.

Nice atmosphere and ambience, Rice field and a gentle breeze. Spacious place, spacious parking area. Nice for hangout and many photo spot. Traditional Javanese ambience, with joglo house. Many open area but difficult when raining. There are annoying flies at some place. The menus is traditional Javanese cuisine (garang asem, botok, pepes, gecok ganem) traditional snack (lemper, sosis, carang gesing, pis kopyor etc). Quite delicious.

Actually the taste of every food and drink was not bad at all. But, i think it's a little bit overprice. When you want to breakfast, lunch or even brunch here, don't expect you will get a super worth it foodie. The price its a little bit higher than the usual restaurant with a village vibes. But, i had to mention that the view and the ambient was so calming. Kepp improved it mba pesta!
