This is definitely the best hidden gem in Jogja. Located near JCM and this resto is kinda hard to reach by car (cuz the road is not rly good) but still its super worthy to try here. Super good food with nice service and atmosphere. Highly recommend nasi siram, most of dishes here are above the average and I love every food here. Staff is friendly and food is affordable. Cozy and comfortable vibe with good music too. Sooo nice👍

Hooflah’s now re-opening on Jombor area! It has a bigger place than before (when they were in Tamsis area). Current main menu: - Nasi Siram Sorr!! (New menu) 26k - Slurpy Kwety 24k - Salt Pepper 28k - Dumpling (4 pcs) 15k - Bakso Goreng (3 pcs) 16k In my opinion, the taste of their menu is well improved. Salt Pepper rice bowl now tastes smokier and more delicious than before. ..and for Slurpy Kwety, the broth now feels thicker and creamier.

Ahh what kind of place is this? The menu is delicious please!! Feels like finding a hidden gem. A place that isn't that viral on social media recommendations, but it turns out the taste is GOOONG VERY DELICIOUS?! Got lost when I wanted to come here because I turned wrong. The expectation was that the place was on the side of the highway, it turned out not. Instead, the place faces the rice fields, ahh I like it. Came here in the afternoon, just arrived in Yogyakarta at noon. Because I missed the turn, what made me realize that it was the place was the menu pasted on the wall. It was very eye-catching. Immediately remembered "ooooh Hooflah's menu seen on gmaps" hahaha Came here and ordered slurpy og, salted egg chicken, dumpling, and sweet orange. Of all that were ordered, honestly none failed, everything was delicious! Just arrived it was quiet, and it turned out there was only the owner, maybe the employee. They immediately made the ordered menu. Wow, from the aroma when cooking it already smelled very delicious. Honestly, I don't know what the busy hours are. Came here on a weekday afternoon. Didn't take long to wait for the food to be served. The slurpy for this og doesn't smell like shrimp at all. So for those who don't like shrimp, don't be afraid to try. Very delicious, it doesn't smell like seafood at all.. for the salted egg, the first bite was immediately "hah delicious 🫠" What is it, the combination of flavors is not over, just right. The taste of the spices is not too complex. Simple but delicious.. The dumplings are also delicious. The sweet orange is refreshing, it's delicious, everything is delicious delicious delicious!! Oh yeah, free parking here. The parking lot is not spacious. For motorbikes, park in front of the eatery. Next, I really want to come back here 🤩
