Fresh grilled or fried fish and meats. Overall good foods and good drinks. On the weekend is always full 😬. I was here 2 times and we would like to eat here again 😋. My "bule" husband loves the grilled fish 🐟 😍.

I first visited this restaurant in 2008, and I still remember that experience very clearly. Back then, reaching the restaurant was part of the adventure, we had to use a small boat to cross the water, which made the whole visit feel unique and unforgettable. The combination of nature, water, and traditional Javanese atmosphere was truly special. Now, after many years, I returned again in 2026. Although the boat is no longer there, I was very happy to see that the most important thing has remained the same: the quality of the food. The dishes were absolutely delicious, fresh, and authentic. It is clear that the restaurant has maintained its high standards over the years. The atmosphere is still peaceful and beautiful. Sitting in the traditional huts surrounded by water and nature creates a very relaxing and memorable dining experience. The service was also excellent, friendly, polite, and professional. For me, this place is not just a restaurant, but a place full of wonderful memories. I am truly glad to see it still thriving after all these years. Highly recommended, and I will definitely come back again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food is very good indeed, it's spacious, perfect for big group. There's a playground for kids too and the parking space is big. Services is good and price is not that crazy too. I don't think there's mosquitoes too.

It's really easy to find and this restaurant is perfect for family gathering or for a huge group of people. The portion of the seafood enough for 3-4 people, but overall the taste is, ok. can't complain much since the place is nice and the service is quick, maybe because at that time not so many people were in. my only complain is just, when i eat on the chair area, right side of the lake(?), no employee at all waiting there and i cant find any media to call the employee like bell or something, so we have to swing around our hand until the employee see us. that's all.

Sendang Ayu is a cozy restaurant with "floating" gazebos at Jl. Yogyakarta-Solo, Tirtamartani, Kalasan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region well known for its yummy grilled gurame fish and other delicious dishes. Clean toilets and a spacious musholla (moslem prayer place). Its position at a crowded street can make vehicle exit and crossing rather challenging, and the parking staff are lazy (they only ask for money but don't help). Waiting could be quite long on holidays (before Covid-19 pandemic outbreak). On an occasion when I and my wife stopped here, they even forgot our order after we had waited for an hour. Otherwise customers could kill time while waiting by riding rafts on an artificial lake.
