The place itself is actually beautiful, with great natural scenery. Unfortunately, our experience was somewhat disappointing because of the entrance fee. As far as we knew, there was supposed to be no entrance fee. Some local people living around the area also told us that the place was abandoned and free to enter. However, when we arrived, the person in charge asked us to pay IDR 5,000 per person, even though there was no sign, notice, or other information indicating that an entrance fee was required. I wouldn't mind paying if there was an official entrance fee, but it should be clearly communicated to visitors beforehand. Being unexpectedly asked to pay without any prior information feels misleading, regardless of the small amount. Hopefully, the management can be more transparent about the status of the place and any fees in the future. The natural scenery is genuinely beautiful, and with better management and clearer information, this could be a really nice place to visit.
