We ended up visiting this spot on a recommendation from our rental car driver during our trip to Yogyakarta for the Vesak event. We initially wanted to try another satay place in Prambanan, but because the access was a bit too far and would take too much time, we decided to pull over here instead—and it was a great decision! ​The Food: ​The Satay: The texture of the meat is decent; it’s not tough or chewy, though not incredibly melt-in-your-mouth tender either. What I love most is that the version I ordered is savory and not overly sweet. It’s quite rare to find savory-leaning satay in Indonesia, but Yogyakarta seems to have plenty of great non-sweet options. If you prefer the classic sweet taste, they also have sweet seasoning options, so you can choose according to your preference. ​The Satay Sauce & Accompaniments: The satay sauce is excellent—thick, rich, and deeply savory. They serve it with fresh cut tomatoes on the side, which adds a wonderful, refreshing balance to the meal. ​Other Dishes: Aside from the satay, their soupy dishes are highly comforting and packed with generous cuts of meat. ​Verdict: A very satisfying alternative if you're traveling around Kalasan or Prambanan. Solid savory flavors, good portions, and definitely worth a stop!

Great Hot Plate Satay in Yogyakarta. So Yummy. I have a great experience in this place. When we had lunch in this place, my friend left his smart phone. The staf there are very responsible and take care of the smart phone and save it till my friend came back and took his phone back. Thank you so muchmuch. A new branch of but with much better conditions than the famous lamb satay restaurant based in Secang District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. This outlet is located at Jl. Raya Solo in Juwangen, Purwomartani, Kalasan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. I and my wife tried the Tegal "balibul" (young lamb) mixed meat+fat satay, and it was so delicious and tender. A cozy atmosphere. Clean, spacious, cool space with fans. Clean traditional toilets and musholla (moslem prayer place). Spacious parking lot.

Taste was good. The resto is very simple, may be hot during the day. Service was good.
