Ordered half a portion of free-range chicken garang asem—it was quite good. Drinks were iced turmeric tamarind and iced coconut with orange, both refreshing. Uniquely, the garang asem is cooked and served in bamboo, which adds to the experience. The place has a homey feel with a traditional kitchen and mostly wooden dining areas, surrounded by trees which create a natural ambiance. It may be a bit challenging for customers with disabilities to access certain areas. Spacious parking area with an attendant available. Hope they continue to do well.

Ayam inkung is very tasty, soft and juicy. The asem2 ayam, for me is lack flavor compared to the ingkung. Place is cozy, you can pay as you wish for coffee and wedang. Both coffee and wedang is really good

A place where the urbanist found an escape to enjoy dining in kampong souls and mood. Free welcome drinks and food was just ok, fast serving too.

The first time I noticed this place was at noon. It was quite hot, but thank God we had lunch inside the hut. There are several menu options of chicken cooked with traditional Indonesian spices. We ordered their signature dish, Ayam Inkung Original, which was enough for four people. It had the authentic taste of Javanese traditional food—flavorful but not too sweet—and we really loved it. We also tried Nasi Gurih, Nasi Putih, and Mendoan; they all tasted good. I hope they’ll have more non-smoking rooms and proper toilets in the future.

The ayam ingkung and ingkung bambu have iconic taste combined with very juicy meat. We can also get coffee by paying any amount we want. The place is very traditional but they provide us wifi. The employees are so kind and helpful. And the parking lot is so large.
