The Best Tekwan in town. Hospitality is another level. Well done.

Delicious tekwan with a light taste and not overwhelming. The broth is fresh, not too oily, and has a just-right savory taste. The fish tekwan is chewy and not mushy, suitable for a simple lunch or dinner. The portion is filling with a very affordable price, suitable for students or daily meals. Service is also fast and quite efficient. The place is simple and focuses more on the food than the atmosphere, so it's not the type of place to hang out for long. Overall, worth it if looking for cheap, delicious, and fast tekwan in Jogja.

First time trying the Tekwan Indomie Model menu, turns out it's like this, it fits 🫶🏻 Trying the Tekwan Soun too, the broth is so fresh. I didn't really like tekwan before because it's boiled (prefer pempek), but here the tekwan texture is chewy but not too floury, so when chewed there's a bit of 'resistance' but not overly chewy (huhu hope you understand), basically the fish and flour ratio is balanced. I really love the pempek pistel, I even added a take-away hahaha, the skin is crunchy and the pistel filling is savory, perfect to accompany the tekwan or as a snack while waiting for the tekwan order hehehe. Pairing it with Aloe Vera Ice is a perfect match, fresh, sweet but not too sweet and there's so much aloe vera content love 🫶🏻

Snacking at Warung Macan Mas doesn't make me regret it. There's an Indomie version of tekwan. Delicious. I like the pistel. Friendly & fast service.
