During our recent trip to Yogyakarta, we visited Gemahripah 78 Restaurant in Jogjakarta, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I came all the way from Dubai with my Indonesian friends to celebrate my birthday, and we were looking for something authentic,this place exceeded our expectations. The food is delicious and full of authentic Indonesian flavors, especially their signature Iga Bakar, which is a must try! The ambience is unique, warm, and welcoming, making us feel right at home while enjoying the essence of Javanese culture. Overall, Gemahripah 78 is a hidden gem in Sleman,great food, wonderful atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. 🌟 Highly recommended!!!

The real definition of hidden gem, this place is very comfortable with very homey atmosphere. Nice place with good decoration and good capacity. Serving time is quick, and since it's not located on the main street, its quiet and calm. The meals is top notch, my favourite is the ribs, or iga bakar. It is fragrant, very flavourful and tender. Ordered the chicken and rice and it's amazing too.

I always bring my mom and brother here whenever they visit Jogja. This place serves delicious dishes ranging from beef, chicken, fish, and many more. I’m not sure how to explain it, but they’re just incredibly delicious with a extra bit homey-like flavor. Personally, I love their beef ribs cuisines the most!

Unik, good presentation and lovely taste. Hidden gems, eating like in grandma's house. Alfresco seating under trees and nice breeze. Good service. Kuddos to chef gege and team.
