It’s a classic Indonesian "kedai" style with cozy, dim lighting. It’s tucked away from the main road noise, making it a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal at night. They serve a variety of Javanese dishes, snacks, and drinks. I tried Nasi Goreng Ati Ayam while my friend had Nasi Ayam Rica. Both were soo delicious—the spices were bold and well-seasoned. We couldn't resist the Tempe Mendoan. It was the perfect side dish to round out the meal. The portions are very filling, and the prices are quite affordable, especially considering the quality and taste. I’ll definitely be coming back here soon

View on GoogleFoods are super great super delicious, and totally afordable, plain water in clay jug is free.. nice vintage place, parking is friendly for motorbike but to those who drive a car, slightly not so spacey but there’s a helpful parking staff, access to reach this waroeng is clear.. easy to access, this waroeng is totally super recommended!
View on GoogleImo this is one of the best warung with the javanese style. Food are so delightful and well homemade cooking style. The staff and owner were friendly. All the menus are so cheap imo. The served the best taste in Jogja and the vibes of this place is so quite and feel so healing. Well so dont skip to try and come visit Waroenk Pengkolan. I have came to this place quite often and always bring more friends. The thing i hope about Waroenk Pengkolan is to build a Musholla for praying. Since i was in here last ramadhan was no musholla. I hope next time i come they will build one. 🫶💛
View on GoogleSuper friendly service and recommended spot for breakfast with Soto. The dining Joglo is vintage Javanese with few pretty paintings on the wall & other old artworks. They serving the Soto on a Gerabah/clay pot bowl. The tempe is freshly made and you need to order first, not served on the table as buffet. Parking area is enough for 3 cars and few motorbikes.
