Kumamoto Kissaten is an absolute must-try for anyone visiting Yogyakarta! Their Artisan Koji Coffee blew my mind - it's a perfectly balanced fermented coffee that is sour, refreshing, and has a delicious aftertaste. ​The owners, Felix and Theo, are legends. Not only are they hilarious and super friendly, but they are true coffee scientists. They walked us through their entire fermentation process and let us taste multiple experimental versions of their Koji brew. ​Incredible vibes, geeky coffee talk, and flavors you won't find anywhere else in Indonesia. ​Finding the place on Grab is a bit tricky - search "SHOKUDOU - Kantin Jepang" to make sure you get dropped off at the right spot.

Setiap kali ke Shoukudo, ga lupa sma minumammya yg disajikan Kumamoto. Favorit saya adalah kumacha (semavam teh susu) dan kopi sodanya. plus, staffnya ramah-ramah. Wajib kesini guys!!
