It’s okay. The tastes of their beverages are nice, but not towards the extent of something to be looked forward to. The spot for youngsters to smoke outside and go about their days. Service and place aesthetic were fine. Not my first stop for coffee, but is worth the try.

Once upon a time, on an ordinary afternoon, I sat with an iced coffee sweating prettier than I was, waiting for the sunset to paint the city in a softer tone. There was a slice of dessert on my table, and for a moment, Jogja felt like a borrowed piece of Jakarta: busy, quick, a little glamorous if you squint. And as I watched people drift in and out, I couldn't help noticing the contrast of these two cities, how in Jakarta, love feels impossible but genuine when it finally stays... and here, it feels like everyone arrives with a smile but leaves with nothing to offer except the echo of a casual hello. So I just sipped my coffee, letting the chill remind me that I deserve something warmer, something that doesn't dissolve as easily as ice on a hot afternoon.
