A food stall that sells Japanese food that is comforting both in terms of food and place.

I often pass by this place cause I love to get fried chickens from the place beside it lol, so I decided to give it a try. Food's very comforting as they suggest - it's filling, tastes good and for its price you get a lot too - especially the big chunks of potato and carrot. I got myself an extra scrambled eggs which tbh even without it, you can still get the most out of it. Place's pretty much an open kitchen, which they let you see as they cook, although there's obviously a choice not to. Service's amazing - they all greet customers as they come and leave, I got food quickly too which came as a surprise considering it was considerably pretty crowded when I got there. Overall a very pleasant experience, definitely worth the try

Got a dinner treat here when I'm in town visiting my dear friend. Warung Oyako certainly delivers more than my expectations on affordable Japanese cuisine. I ordered Nasi Karage Japanese Chicken Curry, which the menu picture did not do justice to the actual portion afforded. It certainly is the biggest Japanese curry rice portion given on the IDR 25K-50K price range, even with add-ons. The drinks are alright, but nothing to write home about. Dinner wraps up with a Matcha Purrin with a delightful texture, although it is slightly too sweet for me, but for my sweet tooth of a friend seems to be just right - I'll leave the judgement to those matcha fans. The restaurant is located in a pretty sleepy residential neighbourhood, so traffic is light in the immediate vicinity (although it is close to a loud shortcut road, so traffic to the restaurant may be busy at times). The restaurant is cooled by fans (actual fans not human fans) so it may be a little loud when the crowd are silent munching on their meals, might not hurt to ask the staff to turn it down if the crowd is light and you're bothered.

I’m gonna give the honest reviews to this place. The first thing which got my attention was the cashier. He tried his best to explain all the menus. He managed it well. I love it. And for the food, it was actually delicious. I got all the protein and it was recommended too by the cashier. Well done. Love it. Keep it up.
