Was looking for a local place that sold Rawon, as I wanted to avoid the sweet soy Java food. Found this spot on Google with great reviews, and decided to give it a try. I got the Nasi Rawon / beef soup with rice, and the Bebek Goreng / roast duck. This was excellent. The soup was very savory with occasional chunks of neat. Very tasty. The duck was crispy outside and tender meat inside. A perfect dinner for my last night in town. Highly recommended, especially if you want some quality local food.

It was late at night, but God, this place sells the best rawon in town! I still could feel a subtle hint of sweetness, but overall, this is very East Java style. Must try!
