My 7-day stay at Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta was wonderful. The hotel combines traditional charm with modern comfort, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Great location, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

A comfortable stay for 2 nights from 23-25Jul. Highlights: delicious varied breakfast, plus the bed and pillows were so comfy I slept really well. The room smelled lovely and fresh too. Only thing that could be improved: some bath towels had black stains, as if not cleaned thoroughly. Using hot water for washing would definitely help ensure better hygiene. Everything else was great!

Spacious rooms, excellent service, prime location, also a very delicious food options during breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The traditional food options are very comforting. Never missed starting a day without a glass of Jamu, the taste is authentic and no hint of bitterness. The ambience also very comforting, especially in the garden and at the lobby when they have the live music. The cafe at lobby level also serving a great small bites, wide options of beverages (coffee, tea, and traditional drinks), and gelato (their Pistachio is delish yet the price is very affordable, only 40K for 2 scoops!). I really have a pleasant stay for the whole week and would definitely come back again someday!! Please keep up the great services🫶

Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta has been my family’s favorite hotel since 2018, and it has become one of those places that always feels familiar whenever we return to Yogyakarta. Over the years, we have stayed here countless times for family trips, short getaways, and various occasions, and the experience has remained consistently pleasant. What keeps us coming back is not only the comfort of the rooms, but also the warm hospitality, attentive service, and thoughtful details throughout every stay. The rooms are always beautifully maintained, the surroundings feel calm and elegant, and the location is exceptionally convenient. There is a sense of familiarity here that makes every visit feel effortless and welcoming, which is why it continues to be our first choice whenever we are in the city. I also frequently visit Punika Deli & Garden for working remotely or having relaxed meetings. The atmosphere is elegant, peaceful, and comfortable, making it a lovely place to spend time even when I am not staying at the hotel. One of the things I appreciated most was the hotel’s excellent location. It is conveniently situated close to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to experience everything the city has to offer. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. The variety of dishes was amazing, with options for every taste. My favorite part was the traditional Indonesian jamu it was delicious, refreshing, and a wonderful way to experience local culture. The quality and selection of the food were outstanding, making breakfast a highlight of my stay. What made the experience even more special was the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. I highly recommend Royal Ambarrukmo to anyone visiting Yogyakarta.
