Out of some of the Padang restaurants around UGM, I have to say that this one is one of the top 3. What's so special is not the variety of side dishes that you can choose. No, actually Lima Sekawan doesn't have as many options as Sabana Murah or other Padang joints. What makes Lima Sekawan so special is quality over quantity. I can go here and eat just a fresh crispy yet tender fried chicken, and the gulai gravy with an orange-y color and thick and gooey texture, so rich and fragrant and super yummy that you can eat it alone with rice. So recommended!
