The place is quiet even though it's not too big. I think it's like a treasure. It's very hard to find a quiet coffee shop in Yogyakarta. The food is also varied and delicious.

On the 23rd of October 2024 I had dinner with friends there. Surprisingly, the food were all good. We ate: sop buntut, tongseng, nasi Hainan, pizza, snapper panggang, rawon, fruit juice. I think this is a good place to have dinner with international visitors as the Indonesian food are tasty genuine as it is, not very expensive and the place is comfortable.

Excellent service, very warm cafe with food that brings local flavours. The most favorite food from Mahayana is "Duo Cak Pur" a delicious combination of satay & fried rice
